Community Partnerships

Cobblestone’s Community Partnerships are what make our impact possible. In fall 2025, Cobblestone launched in partnership with Henry Street Settlement, a true partner in shaping our inaugural after-school program at their Teaching and Learning Campus on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

In partnership we….

  • With Henry Street’s support, Cobblestone turned an office space into a sensory room for all youth at the Teaching Learning Campus to utilize for regulation and play!

  • Over 140 youth visited Cobblestone’s room for specialized play-based programming. More than 40 of these young people self-elect to visit our program biweekly or more.

    Some youth come to our room for help with regulation or for our highly trained staff to support them in taking a break.

    Others seek out our space to have fun while they build their social and emotional skills!

  • Members of the Cobblestone team support our partner staff through trainings on our approach and working with neurodivergent youth.

    Training topics are co-created with site staff and include everything from play-based approaches and affect to paraprofessional training and self-care workshops.

    All staff trainings include concrete tools for staff to take into the classroom that very afternoon.

  • Cobblestone team members join after-school groups to support all youth in participating in the already existing after-school program.

  • A collaborative brainstorm introduced Cobblestone Class! In Cobblestone Class, Cobblestone team members lead inclusive, sensory-friendly, and outrageously fun activities that directly pull from social and emotional learning to build skills in youth.

    With staff always on site, the sky is the limit for what we can come up with next in collaboration with our partners.
